instead of saying “I’m terrible” or other negative statements get into the habit of saying “I feel like I’m terrible” cause it eventually helps with distancing yourself from the self-hatred and turning it into something you can break down and remedy with whatever self care you’ve got

like I learned this myself and it’s saving my ass 80% of the time my self confidence is slowly growing and I can counter/cut down if I start thinking self-destructively
